Mr. Femi Jaiyeola

Femi Jaiyeola is a seasoned risk and compliance executive with over 25 years of extensive cross-border experience in the financial services industry, spanning Nigeria, Africa and Europe. He brings deep expertise in risk management, corporate governance, internal audit and regulatory compliance, making him a valuable addition to the Board of CRC Credit Bureau Limited. He currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer of Access Bank Plc, where he provides strategic oversight of the Bank’s enterprise-wide risk management framework, covering credit, market, liquidity, operational, and compliance risks. Prior to this role, he was the Group Chief Conduct & Compliance Officer at Access Bank, leading compliance across multiple jurisdictions in Africa and Europe. Femi has held senior compliance leadership positions at Sterling Bank Plc and the erstwhile Diamond Bank Plc as Chief Compliance Officer. His earlier career includes distinguished tenures at Standard Chartered Bank (Head of Internal Audit, Nigeria & West Africa), Citigroup Internal Audit, London (Vice President), and Barclays Bank, London (Manager, Internal Audit), providing him with rare cross-border governance experience that spans Africa, Europe and global markets. Earlier in his career, he worked with Arthur Andersen (now KPMG Professional Services), as well as Citibank Nigeria, building a strong foundation in audit, treasury operations, and financial advisory. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Finance & Investment from the University of Edinburgh Management School. He is also an alumnus of the Strategic Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Femi is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Compliance Institute of Nigeria (CIN), and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He serves as Chairman of the Board Corporate Finance Faculty of ICAN and has also held leadership roles within the Compliance Institute of Nigeria.
