Head of Automations

Isaiah Ogheneyole Iyede is the Head of Digital and Automations at CRC Credit Bureau Nigeria Limited, where he leads the design, delivery, and evolution of the organisation’s core application platforms, automation systems, and digital products. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and regulatory alignment of systems that support data ingestion, processing, analytics, and product delivery across CRC’s ecosystem of over 2,000 member institutions. With over ten years of experience spanning credit infrastructure, banking, fintech, logistics, and data analytics, Isaiah plays a central role in driving CRC’s transition from traditional credit reporting to a technology-led, API-driven, and product-centric operating model. His responsibilities include overseeing mission-critical platforms such as the CRC Credit Check API's, File Submission Portal, Data Submission APIs, customer support and helpdesk systems, B2C API Suites, and CRC’s mobile and digital self-service channels. Beyond platform stability and automation, Isaiah oversees the product development team, leading structured research, development, and deployment of new credit products and services. These products are designed to align with lender and borrower needs, improve credit risk visibility, reduce information asymmetry, and help revolutionize the credit lending space in Nigeria by expanding access to formal credit while supporting responsible lending practices. Working closely with executive leadership and business stakeholders, Isaiah ensures that CRC’s product roadmap supports key lending objectives — including improved borrower coverage, better credit insights, faster loan origination, and compliance with regulatory and data governance requirements. His focus is on building products that empower lenders, protect borrowers, and strengthen trust in the credit system. Isaiah is an AI and machine learning enthusiast, with a strong interest in applying intelligent systems to real-world financial services use cases, including credit risk monitoring, early warning signals, automation, and decision support systems. He actively explores the practical adoption of AI/ML models within governed, compliant, and production-grade environments, ensuring that innovation is balanced with data protection and regulatory expectations Prior to joining CRC, Isaiah worked at Ecobank Nigeria Limited, where he contributed to enterprise application development and support within a highly regulated banking environment, including integrations with national payment and regulatory platforms. He has also held senior technical leadership roles in logistics and e-commerce organisations, where he helped architect and deploy end-to-end digital platforms supporting cross-border trade and service automation. Isaiah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Delta State University and a Senior Management Professional (SMP) certification from Lagos Business School (Pan-Atlantic University). He is an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CCP) and AWS Certified Solutions Architect (CSA) and is currently completing an MSc in Data Science at Rome Business School. His professional profile reflects a strong blend of technical depth, product leadership, and executive-level governance, with a consistent focus on building scalable systems that deliver measurable business value.
